Reflexology is a holistic therapy with origins dating back to 2500 BC and is becoming increasingly more popular in todays hectic world. During your Kinfolk Reflexology treatment, pressure is applied to the feet to stimulate reflex points that relate to specific structures and organs within the body. By skilfully working the nervous system, the body is helped to heal and balance within. Reflexology has many benefits and it could reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety and pain.

How Kinfolk Reflexology can help you

I treat adults and children. Children require signed consent from a parent/guardian and must be present throughout treatment.

What to expect during your treatment

Let Kinfolk Reflexology come to you for you to enjoy the benefits of reflexology in the comfort of your own home, without the stress of having to travel to and from your appointment. Your first appointment with Kinfolk Reflexology will include a consultation and medical questionnaire in order to plan the most effective and individual treatment for your specific needs, whether it's to reduce symptoms or for pure relaxation. You will be reclined in the reflexology chair with pillows and blanket for your comfort and relaxation. Please see the 'Treatment Prices' page for a full list of treatments. It is important to relax after treatment and drink plenty of water, slowly to keep hydrated, as the body detoxes.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy and Kinfolk Reflexology do not diagnose conditions. Please see your GP for medical queries and concerns.

Kinfolk Reflexology Founder

After a ten year career as a special needs teacher, Katie began to focus on the pupil's well-being and self-esteem to overcome barriers to learning presented through challenging behaviour and communication difficulties. Katie discovered reflexology through having some treatments herself which had a huge benefit to her presenting symptoms, caused by stress in the very highly demanding career. Katie was fascinated by the way it helped her which inspired her to explore reflexology further and go on to become a qualified clinical reflexologist to help others.

Katie has completed the Reflexology Level 5 diploma with Three Shires School of Reflexology. Level 5 is the highest level of Reflexology training in the country.

Katie has completed the Advanced Facial Reflexology and Zone Face Lift training at the London School of Reflexology with the award winning Ziggie Bergman.
